We hope you’ve enjoyed your week-end. As you know, Hollywood celebrated its little ceremony called the Academy Awards. That was cute… Now that it’s over, it’s time for serious stuff: The Wooz Movie Awards! Yes, the competition is still on… So on! You have until Sunday, March 14, 2010 to post your videos on youtube and to let us know on the blog.

The Woozband is absolutely thrilled with the videos we’ve received so far. Some Woozens even challenged each other to see who would win the most trophies!  So far, many Woozens have replied to the challenge, but with words only… The videos are still missing!

Maybe it’s because they don’t know what they have been working so hard for… So here are the trophies:

Winners for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Art Direction, Best Special Effects and Best Costumes will take home this fantastic golden trophy.

As if it wasn’t enough, we thought we’d spice it up even more by offering the winners a ONE WEEK WOOZWORLD MEMBERSHIP!

As for the winner of the Blockbuster Wooz Movie Award for the most viewed video, he/she will take home the most prestigious trophy of all:

The Woozworld Winter Games were absolutely exciting. Figure skaters, snowboarders, hockey players and skiers invaded all Nationz! Thousands and thousands of Woozens competed tirelessly to catch them all and win the gold!

The Woozband’s Newsroom has received so many great stories in the last few days that we forgot a very important one: Peep-a-boo2’ story, As you all know, Peep-a-boo2 has been a very active in Woozworld since December 2009.

Hello Woozens,

We were absolutely amazed by the great interest you had in our Reporter contest. Our Woozband friend –Journalist was completely submerged with questions as our Newsroom got stormed by dozens and dozens of aspiring reporters! Despite the little amount of time, many of you wrote amazing stories in the Review section of our Facebook Fan Page!  So many great stories, in so little time, thank you so much and congratulations to all of you! We know we didn’t give you much time to participate, but… Gotta keep your eyes opened, things move really fast in Woozworld! But don’t worry, due to the great interest for the reporter contest, we will organize another one shortly, with more time to participate. We are also aware that many of you do not have Facebook accounts and we are working really hard to find new ways for you to express yourself.

But, now, let’s get down to business. Who are the 5 winners? We counted and recounted all the ‘’Likes’’ and ‘’comments’’ (only one comment per person for each post was taken into account) and… Believe it or not, there was a tie in first place, meaning we will give away TWO MONTHLY PLANS! (one for each winner!) Each plan includes 300 Welcome Wooz + 200 Wooz every week. Since we didn’t see it coming and we had already bought 4 Woozworld animated flat screen TV (a 626 Beex and 198 value), we decided to make one extra happy winner! Wow, great story! The Woozband just loves happy endings! We are so happy you found true friendship in Woozworld! However, if other people are mean to you, like you mentioned in your story, remember that the Woozband has a big moderator squad always ready to intervene, so please report anyone who is not respecting the Woozworld code of conduct and we will find them and take actions so they won’t do it again. And try to focus on the nice people, just like you did and most of all. Most of all, try to be a role model by being nice to everyone. Kindness is contagious! And a little reporter tip for your next stories: If you want to say people told you bad words, don’t mention those bad words in your story. You can simply say that someone told you “bad words” without naming them. As you know, Woozens have a great imagination, let them use it !

Today is my first day and this is my first ever article as a journalist.
When I joined Woozworld never had I thought that I would enjoy this game so much…. Main reason being it is very easy to play, innovative, cre…ative, more friendly and most importantly – I have made friends from around the world, I do not know from which country they are from , do not know them personally but they are my best friends , which I will cherries through my life, I could not believe that I made more than thousands of friends within few days of joining Woozworld. Woozworld have just brought World more closer…
Those who are in Woozworld would agree to me on this. Don’t you ?
There are many features in woozworld which are amazing and one of them being – “Giving wings to the imagination” and for Creativity – “Sky is the limit”. No two unitz are same . Each and every unitz stand different from other. Other important feature I found is the contest and competitions held in woozworld, There are two more competitions going on….
Woozworld Rocks!!! That is all I can say for now……

Just as the Olympians are going back home with their medals, its Hollywood’s turn to unroll the red carpet and honor its bests with the Academy Awards Ceremony. But Woozworld is also celebrating the best of its cinematographic industry. Forget the Oscars, here come the Wooz Movie Awards !

The Wooz Movie Awards will reward the best videos shot in Woozworld. The winners will receive a prestigious golden trophy. Those Awards are extremely rare and cannot be sold, bought or traded! There is only one way to get your hands on these precious statues : Take part in the contest, make the best video possible and win!

Wooz Movie Awards will be awarded for the following categories :

-Best Director : Image quality, editing, rhythm of the action, etc.

-Best Screenplay : Best dialogs, best storyline, etc.

-Best Actress

-Best Actor

-Best Special Effects

-Best Art Direction : Video featuring Unitz with outstanding decorations

You can also use other softwares, but they are a little more complicated and you need to download them (if you do so, ask your parents permission! And while they are with you, you can ask for a little help!). You can see them listed in the comments. By the way, thank you Jeripou for the info!

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT: Some programs allow you to record yourself with a webcam at the same time as your computer screen, showing your face in a corner during your movie, which is something we do not encourage in Woozworld. So please do not use this feature. You can record your voice to narrate your video, BUT DO NOT give away any personal information such as your real life name (use your Woozworld username), your address, city, phone number, email, etc. Any video featuring such information will be automatically rejected!

Aaaaah, Valentine’s Day…  The season of love… and contests ! There is definitely love in the air and we hope you will find your soulmate in Woozworld. So what are you waiting for to give an unforgivable gift to your Valentine, by offering him or her a Wedding Relationship Certificate or the key to your favorite Unitz?
